Product Designer – Digital Freight Experience

About the role

Join the Freight Experience Team at Australia Post to shape and improve digital freight products and services. You will work across the full design lifecycle, collaborating with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to create effortless, smart experiences for Australian customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end user experiences, including journeys, wireframes, high‑fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes.
• Partner with research teams to conduct interviews, usability testing, and quantitative studies, turning insights into validated design concepts.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure designs are feasible, accessible, and aligned with global design patterns.
• Contribute to the Product Design Community of Practice and help mature reusable design patterns across platforms.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven product design experience, especially in interaction or user experience design, with a demonstrable portfolio.
• Experience working in Agile, cross‑functional teams on large‑scale digital products.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance stakeholder priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Strong understanding of user‑interface design processes, methodologies, and accessibility best practices.
