Product & Business Analyst (Mid-Level)

About the role

A leading managed service provider for the advertising performer and entertainment supply chain across Australia and New Zealand is looking for a Product & Business Analyst. The role is remote and must be filled by someone residing in the Philippines, working full-time during Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours. It sits within a project delivering a set of features for a global rights-management platform, and the position moves from probation to regular after 6 months.

Key responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders and the product team to define problems and opportunities, and write product requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams and journey maps.
• Own the UX design process, including wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes.
• Partner with the technology team on requirements, sprint planning and delivery, and work with QA on acceptance criteria and release validation.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with users, and present insights and recommendations clearly.
• Support user interviews, workflow mapping and competitor analysis, and turn early insights into problem statements and hypotheses.
• Become a subject matter expert for the platform, help analyse bugs and support trends, and contribute to support documentation, training and change-management materials.

Required profile

• 2-4+ years in a Business Analyst or similar product-focused role.
• Experience in an Agile environment, using Jira and Confluence.
• Hands-on experience with workflow mapping, wireframing or prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Availability to work during AEST business hours.
• Preferred: SaaS business analysis experience, reviewing data or reports for product decisions, and supporting testing or support issue analysis.
