Maintenance Fitter – Sydney

About the role

Mauri is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for its Camellia site in Sydney. You will handle scheduled and preventative maintenance, as well as respond to breakdowns to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily servicing, repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment as scheduled.
• Participate in plant improvements and projects.
• Maintain a proactive safety attitude and follow protocols such as LOTO and permits.
• Assist team members with fabrication, hot work and heavy‑duty mechanical tasks.
• Respond promptly to breakdown calls, diagnose causes and implement solutions with production staff.
• Perform minor electrical tasks, including disconnects, reconnects and resets.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter & Turner).
• Strong welding skills.
• Restricted Electrical licence (desirable).
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Relevant licences/tickets such as confined space, forklift, working at heights, elevated work platform (desirable).
• Strong communication skills with all levels of staff.
