Procurement Specialist

About the role

Join Signet’s Procurement Team and take ownership of supplier communications both locally and overseas. You will manage procurement and BTD processes that directly support revenue growth for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cost optimisation by managing product spend, negotiating terms and sourcing alternative suppliers.
• Build, manage and evaluate supplier relationships to ensure performance, compliance and risk mitigation.
• Oversee assigned categories end‑to‑end, including market analysis, pricing, sourcing and inventory optimisation.
• Provide data‑driven insights and reporting using Excel and Power BI to support procurement decisions.
• Support customer tenders by coordinating requirements, supplier sourcing, specifications and pricing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain procurement data integrity.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, retail or wholesale preferred.
• Strong multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Sound knowledge of procurement and inventory control principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.
