Procurement Specialist – Hybrid (Burwood)

About the role

Transport for NSW is delivering the largest transportation infrastructure program in Australia. The Procurement Specialist will join the Operational Sourcing team to provide end‑to‑end sourcing expertise and support the agency’s procurement objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full sourcing events for goods and services in line with NSW Government procurement policies.
• Draft RFQ/RFP documentation and contracts (excluding technical scopes) following the NSW Government Procurement Framework.
• Process purchase orders and requisitions accurately using Procure‑to‑Pay systems.
• Advise internal stakeholders and external suppliers on routine procurement matters.
• Participate in price negotiations and supplier evaluations to secure value for money.
• Maintain procurement records, monitor Whole‑of‑Government schemes, and produce activity reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end sourcing events for goods and services.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Procure‑to‑Pay workflows and transactional procurement processes.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and customer‑focused attitude.
• Eligibility to work in Australia with full working rights.
