About the role
The Procurement Officer will be based onsite in Cairns, Queensland, managing end‑to‑end procurement activities that support Jet Aviation’s maintenance and operational functions. This full‑time position involves sourcing goods and services, processing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and maintain procurement documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyse purchasing data and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet operational requirements.
- Work closely with vendors to optimise cost, quality and reliability while supporting compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Required profile
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, vendor management and supply‑chain coordination.
- Strong analytical abilities for data analysis, cost comparison and decision‑making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
Required skills
- Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems.
- Advanced use of spreadsheets, databases and reporting tools.
