Procurement Manager

About the role

Hyatt Regency Sydney, located at the heart of Darling Harbour, is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead its Purchasing team. This hands-on role coordinates the purchasing requirements for the hotel, working closely with hotel departments and suppliers to manage costs while maintaining service standards. The position leads a team of five who work a 7-day rotating roster.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role within a hospitality environment is advantageous
• Proven leadership qualities and the ability to support and motivate the team
• Strong stakeholder relationship management, internal and external
• Strategic, proactive and resourceful approach, with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Recent experience in a HACCP environment
• Full working rights in Australia are required

Required skills

• Effective communication and time management
• Experience with BirchStreet software systems is strongly preferred
