About the role
Join Australia’s leading sustainable materials supplier as a Process Operator/Sorter at the Laverton Recycling Facility. This entry‑level position is essential for keeping the plant’s machines running and offers a pathway to a career in recycling and construction materials.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and remove unsuitable items from the conveyor belt.
- Sort removed items into the correct bins.
- Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Identify hazards, report incidents and record operational data.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Quick with hands and able to work at a fast pace.
- Strong commitment to safety and willingness to wear PPE.
- Interest in learning and developing recycling‑related skills.
Required skills
- Ability to operate basic recycling equipment.
- Current tickets such as bobcat (LS), EWP or a heavy‑rig licence are advantageous.
