Practice Manager for Busy Adelaide Clinic

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our well‑established clinic, which sees over 800 patients weekly across 12 GPs. You will be the primary point of contact for doctors, allied health practitioners, nurses, receptionists and practice owners, driving a world‑class healthcare experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day practice operations and ensure high‑quality customer service.
• Resolve IT, employee and patient issues, manage recruitment, induction, training and performance.
• Handle rostering, payroll, HR documentation and compliance.
• Identify growth opportunities, maintain patient recall systems and lead administrative/clinical meetings.
• Manage payment reconciliations, debtor management, accreditation and risk management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a General Practice setting, preferably as a Practice Manager or Team Leader.
• Strong leadership, communication and people‑management skills with the ability to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and make rational decisions under pressure.
• Current Senior First Aid and CPR certifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Best Practice software.
• Experience using HotDoc.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
