Practice Manager (4‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Greencross Vets Nerang is seeking a Practice Manager on a 4‑month fixed‑term contract to lead the clinic while the current manager is on secondment. You will work closely with the Veterinary Director and regional leadership to maintain a positive culture and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support veterinary nurses, receptionists and support staff.
• Manage rostering, workforce planning and team development.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Monitor clinic performance, identify growth opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
• Handle stock control, supplier relationships and general administration.
• Ensure exceptional client service, compliance and workplace health and safety.

Required profile

• Previous Practice Manager, Head Nurse or veterinary leadership experience.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and team‑development skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Organised, proactive and solutions‑focused with ability to manage competing priorities.
