PR Account Manager

About the role

Archetype’s Sydney team is expanding and seeks a PR Account Manager to deliver integrated communications programmes for B2B technology, AI and corporate clients across Australia and APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day client accounts and act as the primary point of contact.
• Lead integrated communications from planning to delivery, including media relations, thought leadership, content and social.
• Develop story angles, secure media and influencer opportunities, and track campaign performance.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, deliverables and internal workflows to keep programmes on track.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to new‑business initiatives.

Required profile

• Curious and ambitious communications professional with 3–4 years of agency experience.
• Strong storyteller who can translate insight into compelling communications.
• Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and building trusted client relationships.
• Collaborative, resilient and eager to learn, with a good sense of humour.

Required skills

• Media relations and influencer outreach.
• Story development and content creation for earned, owned and social channels.
• Campaign planning, budgeting and project management.
