Plant Operator - Road Construction and Maintenance

About the role

The Shire of Yilgarn is looking for a reliable person to join its team as a Plant Operator on a full-time basis. The main purpose of the position is the construction and maintenance of Shire roads.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the construction and maintenance of all civil works as required.
• Drive and operate Council's full range of plant and equipment where trained and licensed.
• If and when required, assist parks and gardens with mowing, tree pruning, manual weed chipping, gardening and other horticultural activities.

Required profile

• WA "HR" manual driver's licence.
• WA Construction card "White card".
• Physically able to undertake manual work including bending, lifting and handling tools and equipment.
