Leading Hand - Road Construction and Maintenance

About the role

The Shire of Yilgarn is looking for a reliable person to join its team as a Leading Hand on a full-time basis. The role provides on-site supervision of the Shire's Road Construction and Maintenance staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of the Road Construction and Maintenance staff
• Give supervised employees on-the-job training and guidance
• Ensure productivity and efficiency of the employees and work group supervised
• Assist in the construction and maintenance of civil works as required

Required profile

• WA "HR" manual driver's licence
• WA Construction card "White card"
• Physically able to undertake manual work, including bending, lifting and handling tools and equipment
