About the role
The Fleet Services team is looking for a safety‑conscious Plant Operator to operate a Bobcat/Skid Steer on road construction and maintenance projects. You will ensure tasks are completed to a high standard while maintaining plant safety and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out assigned construction and maintenance projects, planning work effectively and performing pre‑start checks.
- Maintain the skid steer and other plant through routine inspections, cleaning, secure storage and minor repairs, reporting any faults promptly.
- Load, tie‑down and transport plant and equipment safely to and from worksites.
- Participate in toolbox meetings to improve safety, quality and productivity, and assist onsite teams with labouring tasks when required.
Required profile
- Current HR driver’s licence and a Skid Steer Operators Certificate with final‑trim experience.
- Completion of the Safe Working Near Live Exposed Parts training course.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, build effective working relationships and adhere to WHS, Aus‑Spec and Australian Standards.

What we offer
- Base annual salary $70,059 plus superannuation (13.5% employer contribution).
- 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading, 3 weeks personal/carer leave, 14 weeks paid parental leave.
