Pipelayer – Civil Construction – Regional Queensland

About the role

We are seeking motivated Pipelayers to join a civil construction team on a pipeline project in regional Queensland. The role involves installing and maintaining poly and civil pipeline systems while working on a Monday‑Friday roster.

Key responsibilities

• Install and lay poly and civil pipeline systems.
• Dig and prepare trenches, including excavation and backfilling.
• Use laser levels to achieve correct pipe depths and grades.
• Perform poly welding and pipe joining.
• Read and interpret basic plans and site instructions.
• Maintain a safe and tidy worksite.

Required profile

• Previous experience in pipe laying or civil construction.
• Certificate II/III in Pipe Laying preferred (not essential).
• White Card certification.
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
• Ability to work 10‑12 hour days in a regional environment.

Required skills

• Poly welding.
• Laser level operation.
• Pipe installation and joining.
• Excavation and trench digging.
• Backfilling.

What we offer

• $41.87 per hour plus superannuation.
• Penalty rates after 8 hours per day or 38 hours per week.
• Monday‑Friday roster with 10‑12 hour days.
