About the role
The two‑year Pharmacist Residency Program provides early‑career hospital pharmacists with hands‑on, practice‑based experience across multiple pharmacy units and multidisciplinary teams within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
Required profile
- A tertiary Pharmacy degree (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist, or eligibility for registration in Australia.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical skills in pharmacy practice appropriate to early‑career level.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to workplace changes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Capability to contribute to service improvement, plan and evaluate initiatives, and support student and junior staff education.
