Pharmacist – Grade 1‑2 – Permanent Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacist (Grade 1‑2) to join the multidisciplinary team at Campbelltown Hospital. The role is full‑time, permanent and based on‑site, providing comprehensive pharmacy services to in‑patients and out‑patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform medication reconciliation and review medication orders to ensure safe and effective therapy.
• Dispense medications in accordance with legal, regulatory and hospital policies.
• Provide drug information and counselling to patients, carers and clinical staff.
• Participate in audits, research projects and continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the education and mentorship of pharmacy students and junior staff.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
• Strong commitment to medication safety and patient‑centred care.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to maintain a current influenza vaccination.
