Personal Care Worker Team Leader

About the role

The Personal Care Worker Team Leader will lead a team of PCWs delivering high‑quality home care to Bolton Clarke customers. You will act as the primary point of contact for operational issues and mentor staff to ensure exceptional service across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team of Personal Care Workers, ensuring adherence to best practice, company values and Code of Conduct.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, development and performance management of staff.
• Drive team safety, health and well‑being while monitoring quality improvement.
• Coordinate administrative tasks and work with the scheduling team to optimise service delivery and utilisation.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or currently studying a Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing with successful clinical placement.
• Completion of relevant units such as Administer and Monitor Medications, Support for People Living with Dementia, or Palliative Care delivery.
• Moderate experience post‑Certificate IV supporting people with dementia and leadership experience in aged care preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Person‑Centred Practice, Personal Care Policies and Quality Management Framework.
• Proficiency in Business Development, Records Management and Case Management.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and cross‑functional team working abilities.
