Assistant Village Manager

About the role

Join the friendly team at Woodlands Park in Berwick as an Assistant Village Manager, supporting daily operations and delivering outstanding resident experiences in a peaceful, country‑inspired setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day village operations and implement operational plans and projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies.
• Assist with budgeting, financial processing and procurement activities.
• Help organise village events, social calendar and resident activities.
• Contribute to resident management, fostering strong relationships and supporting maintenance delivery.
• Promote a safe working environment for staff, contractors, visitors and residents.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑service role, with ability to balance priorities and manage resident expectations.
• Experience in complaint handling and dispute resolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a people‑centric focus.
• Compassionate nature and genuine love for working with seniors.
• Current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and various online applications.
