Personal Care Worker - Murray Bridge

About the role

HenderCare provides care services to help service recipients maintain their independence and improve their well-being. It is seeking support workers to provide in-home care in Murray Bridge, South Australia. This is a casual role offering up to 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Personal care such as bathing, showering, toileting, dressing, medication management and manual handling bed transfers
• Community access, such as supporting service recipients to attend appointments or recreational activities
• Domestic assistance such as cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, laundry and making the bed

Required profile

• Caring nature with encouragement, attentiveness, adaptability, excellent communication and strong time management
• Empathetic, understanding and patient approach to the needs of others
• Previous experience providing personal care and domestic services is essential
• Right to work in Australia; pre-employment checks apply

Required skills

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent
• Provide First Aid certificate (HLTAID012)
• Provide CPR certificate (HLTAID009)
• Manual handling certificate
• National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check
• Full driver's licence, access to your own car and a reliable smartphone compatible with the AlayaCare app
