People Technology & Automation Analyst

About the role

Medibank is looking for a People Technology & Automation Analyst to join its People Services team and improve how the People & Culture team experiences everyday processes, systems and services. You will listen to colleagues' needs and turn process pain points into simple, scalable digital experiences using Microsoft Power Platform and approved AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Work with People & Culture colleagues and leaders to understand their needs and improve their experience of people processes and services
• Listen to feedback, map service journeys and identify opportunities to make processes simpler and more human
• Create digital and AI experiences that give timely, clear and consistent support
• Turn service challenges into practical, easy-to-use and scalable solutions
• Connect information and services so the team can access what it needs with less effort
• Involve users in testing and continuously improve solutions based on their feedback
• Monitor how solutions work and respond quickly to issues or barriers
• Design inclusive experiences that protect privacy, support accessibility and use AI responsibly
• Build confidence through demonstrations, coaching and clear guidance

Required profile

• Naturally curious about how People & Culture work gets done and enjoys listening to colleagues and solving service problems
• Experience designing and delivering digital solutions for People & Culture processes using Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint
• Experience creating AI agents or conversational solutions such as Copilot Studio
• Experience testing, monitoring and supporting People & Culture workflows and digital services
• Experience working with people processes, HR systems or employee services
• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience; Microsoft Power Platform certification desirable

Required skills

• Process analysis, journey mapping and requirements gathering
• Understanding of APIs, connectors, data models, permissions and solution deployment
• Working knowledge of privacy, security, data governance and responsible AI
• Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving and communication skills
