People & Culture Manager

About the role

The People & Culture Manager is the senior people partner for Built Living’s Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Neerabup. You will establish and lead the people framework required to mobilise, commission and operate a safe, high‑performing advanced manufacturing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to translate business plans into an integrated people plan covering workforce, industrial relations, capability, engagement and organisational initiatives.
• Develop and maintain workforce plans, including organisation design, headcount phasing, critical skills and succession needs.
• Coordinate people mobilisation for construction, commissioning, operational readiness and production ramp‑up.
• Provide legally compliant advice on performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Lead performance reviews, remuneration reviews, talent identification, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum ten years of broad HR generalist experience with significant business partnering and employee relations responsibility.
• Experience establishing or scaling people processes within a new facility or operational environment.
• Practical knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and enterprise agreements.
• Experience supporting both blue‑collar and white‑collar workforces, ideally in manufacturing, construction or similar industrial settings.
