People, Capability & Culture Business Partner – Hospitality

About the role

Join Village Roadshow Theme Parks as a People, Capability & Culture Business Partner supporting Sea World Resort, Topgolf and Paradise Country. You will partner with the Executive General Manager – Hospitality and operational leaders to shape team experiences, culture and workforce planning across busy periods and major events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical and strategic HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Coach leaders on performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and other employee‑relations matters.
• Support workforce planning for peak trading periods, events and seasonal peaks.
• Build engagement, culture and an outstanding team‑member experience across Guest Services, F&B, Housekeeping, Reservations, Events and more.
• Interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements and deliver sound industrial‑relations advice.
• Identify smarter ways of working and improve people processes and outcomes.
• Develop leadership capability and support a high‑performance, service‑led culture.

Required profile

• Experience in a P&C/HR Business Partner role or relevant HR qualifications.
• Strong employee‑relations and industrial‑relations experience, including Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Confidence coaching leaders and managing sensitive workplace matters.
• Excellent communication, organisation, judgement and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑site operational environment; hospitality, tourism or entertainment is a bonus.
• Experience supporting shift‑based, seasonal or predominantly casual workforces.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with SAP HR.
• Familiarity with UKG and PageUp systems.
• Understanding of WHS and safe work practices.
