Pavements Engineer – Design Infrastructure Projects

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Pavements Engineer to join its Brisbane team, designing pavement solutions for airports, ports, defence facilities and transport networks across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop pavement design calculations, analysis and modelling in line with relevant standards.
• Prepare design reports, specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
• Assess existing pavement performance and devise rehabilitation or strengthening solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from concept through detailed design and construction support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in pavement engineering and design.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Interest in developing as a pavement design specialist within a global consultancy.

Required skills

• Pavement design methodology and standards.

• Preparation of technical reports, specifications and drawings.
