Part-Time or Casual Valet Attendant

About the role

The Novotel Devonport, overlooking the Mersey River, is looking for a part-time or casual Valet Attendant. The main responsibility is the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, with a smooth and professional arrival and departure experience. You will also greet guests, assist with luggage when required and share helpful local knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in line with hotel procedures
• Provide a smooth and professional arrival and departure experience
• Assist with guest luggage, including collection, delivery and storage
• Greet and escort guests with friendly, helpful service
• Handle vehicles and guest property with care, paying close attention to detail
• Support the Concierge and Front Office team
• Keep work areas clean, organised and secure
• Follow all safety, security and hotel policies and procedures

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Front Office, Concierge or customer service role preferred
• Valid driver's licence with the ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Full Australian working rights required; sponsorship is not provided
