Part-Time Medical Receptionist - Surgical Practice

About the role

An established surgical practice in Holland Park is expanding and is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to work 3 to 4 days per week. The role supports clinic administration, operations bookings, correspondence and billing. It is a part-time position, though full-time candidates can also be accommodated. The practice is in a women's health field and offers free street parking.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the surgeon's diary, conduct clinics and book procedures
• Handle surgical procedure quotations and coordinate anaesthetists
• Manage theatre case management
• Edit patient correspondence

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Secretary/Receptionist in a specialist private practice
• Experience in surgical specialties is desirable
• Previous diary management experience, especially for sessional suites, is highly favourable
• Exceptional communication skills

• Medical software for patient bookings and theatre list coordination (Gentu)
