Part-Time Finance Officer

About the role

Whistle Clean, a Melbourne-based cleaning company serving executives, directors and managers since 2014, is growing and looking for a part-time Finance Officer. The role manages day-to-day financial entries, reporting and accurate books on accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and compliance, freeing the Finance Manager to focus on management and leadership. It is a minimum of 10-15 hours per week, working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial entries and reporting
• Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Handle reconciliations and compliance matters
• Prepare timesheets and subcontractor payments
• Manage inventory and produce reports and analysis
• Support continuous improvement

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Availability for Australian working hours and holidays, 9 am to 5 pm Melbourne time, three days a week
• Responsive and accessible during working hours
• Initiative, fast learner, high attention to detail and analytical skills
