Part-Time Customer Service & Sales Consultant - Mildura

About the role

Telstra is hiring a part-time Customer Service & Sales Consultant for its retail store in Mildura. As a Retail Consultant you give frontline support by helping customers choose products, activate services and troubleshoot basic issues, creating positive experiences through good communication and adherence to retail standards.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers find the right products and services for their needs
• Stay up to date with the latest gadgets and services and offer informed advice
• Use consultative selling to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Work with the team to create a welcoming environment and support store goals

Required profile

• Great communication skills and a solution-oriented approach
• Sales drive and passion for learning
• Resilience and positivity, especially when busy
• Customer-facing experience is a plus but not required

• Hourly rate of $34.36 (junior rates apply for those under 20); penalty rates of 25% after 6 PM on weekdays, 25% on Saturdays, 100% on Sundays and 150% on public holidays
