Part-Time Bar Attendant

About the role

A part-time Bar Attendant is sought to join the Food & Beverage team at Distrikt, a 100-seat restaurant, bar, cafe and conference space located within the 4-star Mercure Melbourne Southbank. The role suits someone with a passion for mixology and an eye for detail, working alongside industry professionals and being mentored by experienced Accor hospitality staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and deliver memorable guest experiences
• Serve meals and beverages with flair and professionalism
• Create, pour and serve a variety of beers, wines and spirits
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised F&B area
• Stay up to date on drink recipes and menu offerings

Required profile

• Previous bar experience is essential
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Availability for evening shifts across a 7-day roster
• Confident speaking with guests from all over the world

Required skills

• Strong multitasking skills for a busy bar environment
• Passion for mixology and willingness to learn and grow with the bar
