About the role

A Paediatric Registrar is required for multiple locum shifts at a regional health service in Northern Victoria, from 21 November 2026 to 8 January 2027. The hospital serves more than 90,000 people across North East Victoria, has a 24/7 Emergency Department and also offers residential aged care. The position is advertised by Skilled Medical, a medical recruitment firm.

Shifts and pay

Pay is $2,500 per day for on-call shifts, or $170 per hour for day shifts.
Shifts run from 21 November 2026 to 8 January 2027, including weekends and public holidays, with some days listed as on-call.
Example schedule: Saturday 21 November 08:00-22:00 plus on-call; Monday 23 November 08:00-17:00; Sunday 20 December 08:00-22:00 plus on-call; Friday 8 January 08:00-22:00 plus on-call.

Required profile

Candidates must be registered with AHPRA.
Candidates must hold the right to work in Australia.
