Packing Operator – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

The Packing Operator supports Pfizer’s pharmaceutical manufacturing team to ensure that essential medicines reach patients on time. This role combines hands‑on production work with continuous improvement, requiring both technical competence and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Execute individual tasks to meet team deliverables while fostering a positive work environment.
• Prioritize workflow, manage personal time, and assist less‑experienced colleagues.
• Complete assignments following established procedures, identify process improvements, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Provide direction, training, and knowledge sharing across multiple work groups.
• Generate work orders, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines and cGMP standards.
• Adapt standard methods, monitor equipment usage, and collaborate on investigations and process enhancements.
• Produce reports to assess training needs and track progress.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with standard office software and manufacturing systems.
