Owner Driver – Special Services

About the role

Join FedEx as an Owner Driver in the Special Services team, delivering high‑value and time‑critical freight across Australia. You will operate your own van, acting as the face of the brand while enjoying the flexibility of running your own business.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parcels, clinical trial samples, medical consignments and secure freight on a daily basis.
• Maintain strict adherence to delivery schedules and ensure parcels are delivered in full and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service as the primary point of contact for recipients.
• Comply with all safety and chain‑of‑responsibility regulations.
• Manage your own vehicle maintenance, insurance and related paperwork.

Required profile

• Own a white 1‑3 tonne van, no older than five years.
• Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence and have a clean driving record.
• Possess an ABN, ACN and Pty Ltd structure (or be willing to establish one).
• Carry public liability, marine cargo and workers compensation insurance, plus comprehensive vehicle insurance.
• Full Australian working rights.
