OSHC Casual Educator I - Rockhampton Region

About the role

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is recruiting a casual OSHC Educator I for its Rockhampton region services. The role supports primary school children through play in fun, engaging environments, and suits university students, parents or anyone needing midday flexibility. It fits around a university timetable, placements and other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Work with primary school-aged children in the morning Rise then Shine program (6:00am - 9:00am, Mon-Fri) and the afternoon Stay and Play program (2:00pm - 6:00pm, Mon-Fri).
• Take shifts across the open hours, with extra hours available during school holidays.
• Provide engaging, safe play experiences for children.

Required profile

• Desirable but not mandatory: working towards or having completed a 1 or 2-year qualified Educator qualification in QLD under ACECQA.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko).
• Available for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week.
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Willingness to hold a national police check (paid by the employer) and a state working-with-children check.

• Pay of $33-$47 per hour plus super.
