OSHC Assistant Coordinator - Killarney Heights

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is recruiting an Assistant Coordinator for its Killarney Heights Primary OSHCare service. The role is permanent and part-time, at 27.5 hours per week, split between two shifts: 7:00-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 3:00-6:00pm (Stay and Play), Monday to Friday. It suits someone who wants to build confidence in leadership, operations and team management within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Help lead and mentor a team of educators onsite
• Build confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance and administration
• Create child-led programs such as STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft experiences
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community
• Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management roles

Required profile

• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (the employer covers it)
• State working-with-children check
• Australian working rights
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko)
