About the role

Join Maven Dental Port Lincoln, a modern, patient‑focused practice on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula. The role offers a supportive environment for both experienced and newly graduated Oral Health Therapists with an adult scope.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene assessments and treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications.
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and effective hygiene practices.
• Take and interpret dental radiographs to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Place stainless steel crowns and remove deciduous teeth within scope of practice.
• Assist in managing dental emergencies and support a range of clinical procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Oral Health Therapist with adult scope, registered to practice in Australia.
• Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team.

Required skills

• Dental hygiene assessment and treatment (scaling, polishing, fluoride).
• Radiographic imaging (taking and interpreting X‑rays).
• Placement of stainless steel crowns and extraction of deciduous teeth.
