Online Child Safe and Wellbeing Officer

About the role

The College is seeking a committed Christian Child Safe and Wellbeing Officer to join the ACC Victoria Online team on a permanent, full‑time basis. Working onsite at the Casey Campus, you will support student safety and wellbeing within a virtual education model.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for child safety and wellbeing concerns, providing advice to staff, students and families.
• Identify, assess and respond to student wellbeing risks, escalating according to the Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy.
• Monitor student engagement indicators (attendance, communication, wellbeing data) to flag at‑risk students.
• Coordinate virtual visits and implement targeted interventions such as wellbeing plans and communication plans with families.
• Maintain accurate records in the Student Information System and contribute to policy development and risk register reviews.

Required profile

• Demonstrates genuine Christian faith and commitment to ACC’s mission.
• Highly relational, able to work within structured processes and policies.
• Exercises sound judgement in complex situations and is confident working with families and external agencies.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Casey Campus in Cranbourne South.
