Injury Management Consultant

About the role

Join Marsh’s Recovre team as an Injury Management Consultant in Melbourne. This hybrid position requires you to be in the office at least three days a week, working directly with Australia’s leading manufacturing client.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with clients and collaborate with all stakeholders.
• Serve as the in‑house Injury Manager on‑site, overseeing a portfolio of 45‑50 non‑billable cases.
• Identify and resolve hurdles to safe, sustainable return‑to‑work after illness or injury.
• Provide early‑intervention services, gathering documentation from workers, employers, treating doctors and other professionals.
• Maintain high‑level customer service and strong relationships with site supervisors, claims teams and injured workers.

Required profile

• Exceptional case‑management/return‑to‑work experience or qualifications as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, Psychologist, Social Worker, Chiropractor, Osteopath, or Registered Nurse.
• Resilience, time‑efficiency and adaptability to balance a considerable workload while maintaining work‑life balance.

Required skills

• Manual handling training experience.
• Outsourced Return‑to‑Work leadership experience.
