OHS Consultant – South East Victoria

About the role

Join Marsh’s Advisory team as an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant supporting clients across South East Victoria. You will work on‑site providing hands‑on OHS advice, risk assessments and incident investigations, with occasional travel to the Docklands office for team meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients to support their OHS outcomes.
• Travel to client sites and attend virtual meetings to manage OHS risks, implement management system requirements and conduct audits.
• Deliver written and verbal reports that are technically accurate, timely and of high professional standards.
• Support coordination and delivery of client programmes and projects, following Marsh’s project management processes.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (minimum Cert IV OHS + relevant experience).
• 2‑3 years’ experience in OHS advisory or a related role.
• Working with Children Check and a current driver’s licence with own vehicle.
• High level of professionalism, especially when working with government organisations.

Required skills

• Sound working knowledge of OHS legislation and current issues.
• Understanding of risk management principles and ability to apply them to WHS hazards.
