OHS Consultant – North East Victoria

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant to join its Advisory team in North East Victoria. You will work on‑site with clients, providing hands‑on OHS support, risk‑management advice and occasional travel to the Docklands office for team meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Build collaborative relationships with clients to support their OHS outcomes.
• Travel to client sites and conduct remote/virtual meetings to manage OHS risks, implement management systems and perform audits.
• Deliver written and verbal reports that are technically accurate, timely and of high professional standard.
• Support coordination and delivery of key client programs and projects.
• Follow Marsh’s project‑management processes and procedures on all assignments.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree in Occupational Health and Safety or relevant field (minimum Cert IV OHS + experience).
• 2–3 years OHS advisory or related experience (less experience may be considered).
• Working with Children Check and a current driver’s licence with own vehicle.
• High professionalism; experience with government organisations is valued.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of OHS legislation and current issues.
• Understanding of risk‑management principles applied to WHS hazards.
