Officer Manager - Maternity Leave Replacement

About the role

Estia Health is hiring an Officer Manager to cover a 6-month maternity leave period at its residential aged care home in Mount Clear. The role is described as an indispensable helper to the residential aged care manager, keeping the home running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Residential Aged Care Manager and home staff to maintain accurate rosters
• Assist with staff recruitment and onboarding
• Provide prompt and friendly customer service to internal and external customers
• Manage the enquiries pipeline proactively to convert enquiries into sales
• Lend a hand with billing, payroll and stocktake
• Guide and mentor the Administration Officer
• Maintain all record management systems
• Support the residential aged care manager in their daily tasks

Required profile

• A qualification in Business Administration or similar (ideally)
• Previous experience in aged care (ideally)
• Previous experience in rostering (ideally)
• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives

Required skills

• Solid computer and data skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
• People person and problem solver with high attention to detail
