Office Manager - Aged Care Home

About the role

Estia Health is looking for an Office Manager for its residential aged care home in Hamilton, Queensland. The role is an indispensable helper to the residential aged care manager, keeping the home running smoothly. It is a full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) open Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Residential Aged Care Manager and home staff to maintain accurate rosters
• Assist with staff recruitment and onboarding
• Provide prompt and friendly customer service to internal and external customers
• Manage the enquiries pipeline proactively to convert enquiries into sales
• Lend a hand with billing, payroll and stocktake
• Guide and mentor the Administration Officer
• Maintain all record management systems
• Support the residential aged care manager in their daily tasks

Required profile

• A qualification in Business Administration or similar (ideally)
• Previous experience in aged care (ideally)
• Previous experience in rostering (ideally)
• People person and problem solver with high attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
