Occupational Therapist

About the role

OTFC Group is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join its South Australian team, delivering play‑based therapy to children and young people across its clinics in Parkside, Mile End, Findon and Campbelltown, as well as in community settings. The role focuses on supporting clients with a range of developmental differences to build confidence in daily living, learning and play.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, play‑based occupational therapy in clinic settings and, where required, in homes, schools and community environments.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address each client’s strengths and goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools and multidisciplinary health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in clinical supervision, mentoring programmes and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to team projects, community initiatives and service development activities.

Required profile

• Registered Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
• Passionate about working with children and young people.
• Enjoys autonomy while thriving in a supportive team environment.
• Committed to a holistic, strengths‑based therapeutic approach.

Required skills

• AHPRA registration (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
