Occupational Therapist – Hobart Clinic

About the role

Join the Ability Action Australia team in Hobart as an Occupational Therapist supporting NDIS participants across home, school, work and community settings. You will manage both clinic‑based and mobile caseloads, delivering evidence‑based interventions and fostering independence.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver OT interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Recommend home modifications and assistive technology to enhance independence.
• Support participants in daily life activities with a warm, humour‑filled approach.

Required profile

• AHPRA‑registered Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in community or NDIS settings.
• Strong communication, time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Passion for disability support and improving participant outcomes.

Required skills

• Evidence‑based OT assessment and intervention.
• Knowledge of home modification and assistive technology solutions.
