About the role
Join the Early Start Australia Graduate Program as an Occupational Therapist in Hobart, working within a close‑knit allied health team to support children and families. You will receive dedicated clinical supervision, mentoring and training to develop confidence and competence.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and manage a varied caseload, including complex clients, using a client‑centred approach.
- Design, implement, monitor and adjust individualised therapy programs based on client goals.
- Deliver therapy services across clinic, home, school and community settings, including group programs and parent workshops.
- Collaborate with families, allied health professionals and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation, treatment notes, incident reports and ensure compliance with funding requirements such as NDIS plans.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Membership/registration with AHPRA and current Working with Children or Vulnerable People check.
- Current driver’s licence, vehicle, NDIS worker screening and police check.
- Accredited first aid and CPR certification.
Required skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Exceptional observational, report writing and documentation skills.
