About the role

This full‑time position offers a unique opportunity to join a leading tertiary teaching hospital in the Northern Territory as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar. The role is accredited for both the FRANZCOG Prevocational Training Program and the GP Obstetrics Training Pathway, providing structured supervision in a supportive teaching environment.

Key responsibilities

• Antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care for both low‑ and high‑risk pregnancies.
• Emergency obstetric and gynaecology management.
• In‑patient and out‑patient gynaecology services.
• Operating theatre exposure and supervised procedural training.
• Participation in teaching, multidisciplinary team activities and education sessions.

Required profile

• General Registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain registration shortly.
• Eligibility for FRANZCOG Prevocational Training and/or GP Obstetrics Training Pathway.
• Commitment to work in a busy tertiary referral service and to serve a diverse patient population.
