About the role

Skilled Nursing is recruiting a permanent Nurse Unit Manager for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mersey Community Hospital in Tasmania. The role leads and mentors nursing staff across all emergency department shifts and oversees clinical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor nursing staff across all emergency department shifts

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Substantial experience in emergency or acute care nursing
• Proven leadership experience in clinical settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure
