Night Manager (Sydney)

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Full‑Time Night Manager to oversee the overnight operations of Mercure Sydney Blacktown. You will ensure smooth guest services, maintain security standards and support the morning team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest check‑in/out, requests and provide hotel information.
• Settle and maintain guest accounts with accurate cashiering.
• Enforce strict security procedures to protect guest confidentiality and safety.
• Assist the Guest Service Manager and General Manager with checks and balances.
• Prepare and deliver food from the all‑day dining menu and cafe as needed.
• Support morning breakfast set‑up and guest needs.

Required profile

• Guest‑obsessed attitude with ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and quick thinking.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• RSA and First Aid qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• Availability to work 11 pm – 7:30 am on a 7‑day roster.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using the Opera property management system.
