Night Manager - ibis Styles Sydney Central

About the role

A centrally located hotel in the heart of Sydney CBD is looking for a full-time Night Manager to join its team at the eclectic ibis Styles Sydney Central. The role suits an experienced Night Supervisor looking for their next step or a Night Manager looking for a change of scenery. The Night Manager ensures the overnight operation runs smoothly and efficiently, keeping guests satisfied and the property safe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily reconciliation of the hotel's trading, check reports and prepare statistical information according to service standards and auditing procedures during the night shift.
• Provide efficient guest services, including check-in and check-out, request handling and providing hotel information.
• Settle and maintain guest accounts accurately.
• Maintain strict security procedures to protect guest confidentiality and safety.
• Maintain the hotel's standard of professionalism.

Required profile

• Relevant night audit experience in the hotel industry.
• Guest-focused approach, able to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems when they arise.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
• Valid Australian working rights; sponsorship is not available.
