Guest Service Agent

About the role

Hyatt Regency Sydney, located next to Darling Harbour in Sydney's CBD, is Sydney's largest premium hotel with 878 guestrooms, dining options and extensive meeting and event space. It is recruiting experienced Guest Service Agents to join its front office team, which creates memorable experiences for guests in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to external and internal guests
• Handle a large volume of check-ins and check-outs every day
• Assist with guest enquiries and recommendations
• Create memorable experiences through care and empathy
• Handle customer complaints and escalate them to the Manager on Duty
• Take an active part in the upselling initiative

Required profile

• Previous front office experience
• Previous experience working with OPERA
• A friendly and welcoming personality
• Valid Australian working rights
• Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster of 38 hours per week

Required skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent grooming and personal presentation
