Night Auditor (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Pullman Cairns International as a part‑time Night Auditor, responsible for maintaining financial accuracy and delivering seamless guest service during the overnight shift (11:00 pm‑7:00 am). This role is the key point of contact for guests and hotel operations throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the night audit process, including financial reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure all guest accounts, charges, and transactions are accurately processed.
• Handle overnight guest enquiries and provide professional front‑office support.
• Conduct property checks to uphold safety, security, and compliance standards.
• Respond to operational issues and guest requests calmly and efficiently.
• Prepare daily reports and ensure a thorough handover to daytime teams.
• Support coordination between Front Office and Finance departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a Front Office role within a hotel.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Sound understanding of hotel accounting processes and financial accuracy.
• Calm, solutions‑focused approach to independent overnight work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for shift outcomes.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Required skills

• Opera Cloud (or similar hotel property management system).
